This cinder cone is located just above Lake Waiau near the summit of Mauna Kea. Water is the most valuable of resources to Hawaiians. The word is used to describe wealth and property. Snow, often found on the higher slopes of our mountains, is one form of water which can be transported. Our shoulder bag was styled to carry many goods. As a play on the value of water and in our quest to create more eco-friendly products, we selected the name of one of the highest puʻu on Mauna Kea for this special carry all. Reversible with zipper pockets on the side seams, easy to pack, and especially useful for carrying groceries, our small offering is a designer accessory!
Our Haukea measures 8" wide x 15.75" long at the base and 12" in height to the opening of the bag. The handles are 24" in length from one side to the other, making it possible to be carried over the shoulder.
