This Pullover Aloha Shirt features our Aloha Puʻueo print on Lighthouse fabric with Moss and O.D Green ink.
Puʻueo is beloved. This print honors our last visit as a team with Uncle Kia at his home in Puʻueo, Waipiʻo. We brought John John here to show him the beginning of our design process, starting with inspiration from the ʻāina. These are the huli we harvested that day, lined up on the kuapā ready to be replanted. For generations this place has nurtured families and has inspired a love for the ʻāina and culture. Aloha Pu'ueo we will meet again.
Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Pullover features a half placket and is designed slightly wider to allow over-the-head dressing with ease. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!
