This Buttonup Aloha Shirt features our Hoihoi Hoikuahiwi print on Limestone fabric with Coal ink.
In dense windward forests, the Hoi vines are common, growing on the side of the road. Veiny and heart shaped, the leaves attract my attention all the time. The distinct lines on the leaf demand an up-close inspection, feeling the rather rough texture. It is exciting to see for it is rare! Hoihoi Hoikuahiwi is a study of the native yam. Beware! It is bitter!
Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Button Up is an open front, tapered shirt with a full length placket. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!
Model is 5'6" and is wearing a size Medium.
