Mikioi Pot Holder Set

These hot pads have a special hands-on touch.  The echo quilting is similar to how our jackets were made in the early years. It is also how the Hawaiian quilts are made:  a technique which repeated the shape of the original design in a closely radiating pattern.

The name "Mikioi" is a term used to describe the craftsmanship in doing anything.  Here, our dear friend Lorraine has perfected her art and her work is excellent!
