This Buttondown aloha shirt features our E Ola Koa print in Graphite.
The 'leaves' of the koa tree -- which really aren't leaves at all -- are crescent shaped petioles. The silvery green sheen on each petiole is the result of thousands of tiny hairs which gather moisture from the air and direct it down and inward, toward the trunk of the tree. This encourages growth not only for the koa, but for all the other plants that make their home beneath its sheltering branches.
Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawaiʻi, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Buttondown is an open front, tapered shirt with a full length placket. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Fabric is machine-washable 100% cotton broadcloth. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!
