Hāʻimiloa Button Up Aloha Shirt - Crimson

This Buttonup Aloha Shirt features our Hāʻimiloa print on Crimson fabric with Raffia ink.

The 2010 graduation class of Ke Ana Laʻahana is comprised of four students.  Literally, the name of this design means, “ Four Explorers” .  Figuratively, it means, “ The breath of deep knowledge”.  The values of these four students (leadership, courage, independence and piko) were the source for our ʻohe kapala.  Each one is represented here in the fabric design.  This design goes forth as a prophesy, as a symbol of hope that each student will achieve their dreams.  May each one become that person of great knowledge!

Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Button Up is an open front, tapered shirt with a full length placket. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!
