This Hua dress features our Kani Ka Lei design in White.
Kani Ka Lei!: The kūpeʻe or Nerita polita is a species of sea snail. Each shell is unique and they are gathered by practitioners of hula kahiko to make adornments for the ankles and wrists, also called kūpeʻe. There is a unique sound the shells make when bound onto the dancer.
The days of the moon guide us in so many ways. The new moon is selected for its powers of a new beginning. The ʻole days keep us close to home as they are best to maintain and clean about. The full moon cycles are usually perfect days to accomplish all goals and the fruitfulness is sought.
Named after the thirteenth day of the moon phase, the Hua Dress is a celebration of the fruits of our labor! A combination of many favorite styles, the sleeve, collar, length and trapeze is all about comfort. Youthful, cool and poise are offered in this all-occasion wearable. A stand-up collar, cap sleeves and an at-the-knee length, the style is all about comfort. Button-front closure and relaxing ease permits perfect strides! Available in sizes XXS - 2XL in machine-washable 100% broadcloth cotton.
