Keahialaka
In the Puna district on the island of Hawaiʻi is a large forest area called Keahialaka. Literally meaning the “fires of Laka,” this special place Is home to several different colors of the lehua blossom. When all the red flowers are in full bloom, the forest appears to be on fire! The lehua blossom of the ʻōhiʻa tree is the flower of the island of Hawaiʻi.

O Kona kai ʻōpua i ka laʻi, ʻōpua hīnano kau i ka mālie.
(Kona with its cloud billows and sea in the calm,
puffy clouds white like hīnano blossoms resting in the quiet.)
On the horizon, we often see billowy, puffy clouds. These cloud banks are ominous and sometimes is a hōʻailona, a portent of what is coming. Famous are these clouds of Kona, Hawaiʻi.
Our kamahine dress was inspired by our Manamana Dress, a popular style for our wahine. This A-line cut was made for the active, romping, and stylish girls who wanted to look like Mom. 100% cotton for those wonderful Kona days!

SHIPPING & STORE PICKUP We offer domestic and international shipping options for online orders through USPS, FedEx, and DHL International. Please allow at least 2 - 3 business days for your order to be packed and processed for shipping. The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Please contact your chosen carrier with your tracking information to inquire about the estimated date of arrival and location of your package. Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday. Orders that come in on Friday after 10am HST will not be processed until the following Monday, even if the request is for overnight shipping. If you live on Hawaiʻi island and would like to pick up your order at our Downtown Hilo Flagship store, please select the "Local Pickup" option. Please allow 24 hours for us to get your order ready.
