Our Mālama bags are a start! Reusable for multiple uses, especially when shopping or carrying
things between islands. We use them when we gather kinolau from the forest and deliver
fresh fish from shore to our mauka ʻohana.
Each design is bold and pretty, but also carries the stories of our kūpuna.
While using them, remember what they taught us, relive the stories they told, and best of all,
live the thrifty lives as they once did!

Online gift certificates can be transferred to our Hilo or Sig on Smith locations. Gift certificates issued from our brick and mortar locations can also be transferred but only on weekdays when staff is available to do the transaction via the web. If we have the item in stock, it will be set aside to guarantee your exchange. SHIPPING & STORE PICKUP We offer domestic and international shipping options for online orders through USPS, FedEx, and DHL International. Please allow at least 2 - 3 business days for your order to be packed and processed for shipping. The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Please contact your chosen carrier with your tracking information to inquire about the estimated date of arrival and location of your package. Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday. Orders that come in on Friday after 10am HST will not be processed until the following Monday, even if the request is for overnight shipping. If you live on Hawaiʻi island and would like to pick up your order at our Downtown Hilo Flagship store, please select the "Local Pickup" option. Please allow 24 hours for us to get your order ready. We will send a notification to you when your order is ready to be picked up. Please have your order number available when you arrive.
