This new print features the original Ka Ua Kani Lehua art done by Sig for Hilo Kumu Hula Johnny Lum Ho and his Hālau O Ka Ua Kani Lehua in the 80s. The name Ka Ua Kani Lehua speaks of our Hilo rain and that unique sound falling on the lehua blossoms in a forest of ʻōhiʻa.To celebrate their comeback and great win at the 2016 Merrie Monarch Festival, a new layout and fabric was created by one of our designers and a long time Ka Ua Kani Lehua dancer, Brandy-Alia Serikaku. Ola Ka Ua Kani Lehua! This iconic print comes back to life!
