This Aʻeloa Blouse features our Nā Palapalai design on Ruby fabric with Coral ink.
Special ferns make our lei beautiful! The palapalai is a favorite because of its long lasting nature. As kinolau to Laka, this is one of the few plants that is allowed in a dancer's lei when the hula is traditional kahiko. This design was a gift to Kuana Torres, Kehau Tamure, and Keao Costa, of the Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winning group, Nā Palapalai. Their gift of music fills our hearts each time we listen to their voices soar.
"Kiʻekiʻe Kaʻū, kua makani, he umauma i pā ʻia e ke Aʻeloa..." Majestic Kaʻū, wind blown back, breast blown upon by the Aʻe Loa tradewinds...Our wahine blouse is a great fit! Try it on and see how the back darts help deliver that shapely look! Hand printed 100% Kona cotton is machine washable.
