Panepoʻokehakeha Button Up Aloha Shirt - Quicksilver
This Button Up Aloha Shirt features our Panepoʻokehakeha print on Quicksilver fabric with Pewter ink.
We feature a design by a Nāwahīokalaniʻōpuʻu graduate, Laukeha Helekahi-Kaiwi. For her senior project she spent time in our design department SZ Kaiao learning our aesthetic and Makawalu design process.
“ This design is dedicated to my class, the Class of 2017 of Ke Kula ʻo Nāwahīokalaniʻōpʻu. It is inspired by the achievements and the knowledge that has been instilled in us, and symbolized how we incorporate what we have learned into our lives now and in the future. There are four particular elements that complete this design: the Ihe Laumeki, the Kukui nut, the Hilo Braid (ti-leaf braid), and the mountains. Each element has its own significant meaning. The the symbolizes Nāwahī, and how we should always give our all in everything. The Kukui nut symbolizes knowledge and enlightenment. The Hilo braid represents everything we have learned, all woven together to use in the future. And lastly the mountains. It doesn’t matter how far we are from each other, we will always be connected to our piko, our home.”
Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Button Up is an open front, tapered shirt with a full length placket. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!

SHIPPING & STORE PICKUP We offer domestic and international shipping options for online orders through USPS, FedEx, and DHL International. The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Orders that come in on Friday after 10am HST will not be processed until the following Monday, even if the request is for overnight shipping.
