Hōʻailona are often omens that appear momentarily, guiding our path. Elemental forms,
like a rainbow or an ominous cloud, are common hōʻailona,
revealing a presence, or a confirmation of a thought.
Rain from clear sky, is an hōʻailona of the extraordinary. In that moment, we observe the elements and our surroundings. Our artistic rendering of this phenomena cannot capture the true essence but rather makes the occurrence tangible.
The late Mary Adams taught us how to make the lei Puakenikeni. She suggested that as we string each blossom, a sample twist will “lock” the flower in place. The result is a beautiful lei with all the petals liked in perfection! Our name Teniteni is a term of endearment. Cherished and prized, the fragrant lei is called by name, but with a little twist in the spelling. The “t” replaces the “k” and makes it more fun to say!

SHIPPING & STORE PICKUP We offer domestic and international shipping options for online orders through USPS, FedEx, and DHL International. Please allow at least 2 - 3 business days for your order to be packed and processed for shipping. The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Please contact your chosen carrier with your tracking information to inquire about the estimated date of arrival and location of your package. Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday. Orders that come in on Friday after 10am HST will not be processed until the following Monday, even if the request is for overnight shipping. If you live on Hawaiʻi island and would like to pick up your order at our Downtown Hilo Flagship store, please select the "Local Pickup" option. Please allow 24 hours for us to get your order ready. We will send a notification to you when your order is ready to be picked up. Please have your order number available when you arrive.
