This Buttonup Aloha Shirt features our Ulunui print on Pepper fabric with Steel ink.
Surrounded by breadfruit trees, our homestead in Keaukaha is a place of growth and inspiration. The iconic leaves draw my attention, studying the shapes, acknowledging its radiant energy. From a small bulb to a textured globe of intricate patterning, its fruit captivates me. I am infatuated by its presence and inspired with its form.
Ulunui (Grand Inspiration) was my initial study of the ʻulu. It is always nice to revisit the form as it takes me to my comfort zone. Wearing the art grounds me and is a reminder of our intentions as a company.

Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Buttondown is an open front, tapered shirt with a full length placket, while The Pullover features a half placket and is designed slightly wider to allow over-the-head dressing with ease. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!
