Waikahalulu Kou
I have always been fascinated with history and looked to it as a great teacher. Desperately curious to learn from our past to help enrich the present. Recently I learned that Downtown Honoulu/Chinatown, was once a small harbor village called Kou. It was named such due to the great abundance of Kou trees and its many variations of orange flowers. It was the small village of Kou that was the pioneer to the modern Downtown Honolulu that we all know today.
We now pay homage to our past with this anniversary print, reminding us that Kou is the understory to Waikahalulu. As we celebrate our 5th anniversary in Chinatown, we take this time to honor those that came before us, celebrate with those around us, and await the great things in our future. Ola Chinatown! Ola Kou!!
Hua Dress
Hua is the thirteenth moon of the monthly cycle. The moon is egg shaped in appearance. It is a good day to plant anything that bears fruit.
We named this dress after this Hua moon phase. Its “A” shape, short cap sleeve, stand-up collar, and informal button-up front makes this comfortable and ready for every day wear.
Check out either 100% cotton or the 55% combed cotton/45% polyester seersucker fabrication! Find your comfort zone!

The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Please contact your chosen carrier with your tracking information to inquire about the estimated date of arrival and location of your package. Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday.
