Auamo au i kēia kuleana e hana ma kēia ʻano he kumu Kaiapuni no ka mea he ʻiʻini nui koʻu e hoʻonaʻauao i nā poʻe keiki Hawaiʻi me nā waiwai / kuanaʻike mai nā kūpuna mai.  ʻO ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi ka mea nui e aʻo aku ai.  E Ola ka ʻōlelo!

 

I took on the responsibility of becoming a kumu Kaiapuni because I had a desire to educate Hawaiian children in the values and knowledge of our ancestors.  The Hawaiian language is the most important thing to teach.  Long live our language!
