Hana Hou
White ginger blossoms were part of our youth! While hiking in the valleys, we came across fields of ginger, filling the air with their fragrance. Plantings of ginger were always found in many a backyard, and in season, blossoms were plucked to be placed behind an ear.
Enraptured by its delicate nature and pure whiteness, the flower became the first iconic image of our company. When my sister Michele opened her shop, Hana Hou, she asked to use my white ginger print for her logo. I did this design in her honor!
ʻOpuʻu Shell Top
When we first opened SZD, Nālani designed this shell top. Simple with our trademark coconut buttons on the shoulder, this top is meant to play. Nothing to fuss about, easy wear, and refreshing for a Hilo day.
We give this updated style the name ʻŌpuʻu as the off shoot from the mother kalo (the mother being the original top created by Nālani).

SHIPPING & STORE PICKUP We offer domestic and international shipping options for online orders through USPS, FedEx, and DHL International. Please allow at least 2 - 3 business days for your order to be packed and processed for shipping. The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Please contact your chosen carrier with your tracking information to inquire about the estimated date of arrival and location of your package. Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday. Orders that come in on Friday after 10am HST will not be processed until the following Monday, even if the request is for overnight shipping. If you live on Hawaiʻi island and would like to pick up your order at our Downtown Hilo Flagship store, please select the "Local Pickup" option. Please allow 24 hours for us to get your order ready.
