Hoʻolauʻulu
The ʻulu has long been a symbol of strength and insipiration to us. The tree sustains us physically and psychologically. The essence of the spirit feeds the soul. The design depicted here showcases Sig's growth as an artist, and as a master of his craft. The lines of the leaves were cut in a continuous motion, locking in the flow and mana of his work. The depiction of the skin of the ʻulu as an ʻohe kāpala offers both tradition as well as a modern twist. The name is simple, but its meaning is several layers deep. Lau is a measurement of quantity, ulu meaning growth, inspiration and plenty. We are grateful for our blessings and humbly ask that they continue to grow.
Kēwai
A sheath dress was first introduced as the Makaniʻoluʻolu Dress. It was popular for its bias cut and featured a keyhole closure at the back. Large graphics were hand-printed, contributing to the modern, contemporary look. The drape of the fabric, the simple silhouette, and the visuals made it one of the most iconic styles. The Kēwai Dress is the short version!
Kēwai is a moisture laden wind of the Hilo area. We bestowed the name on this style for that cool and fragrant wind that we often feel in Hilo!

SHIPPING & STORE PICKUP We offer domestic and international shipping options for online orders through USPS, FedEx, and DHL International. Please allow at least 2 - 3 business days for your order to be packed and processed for shipping. The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Please contact your chosen carrier with your tracking information to inquire about the estimated date of arrival and location of your package. Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday. Orders that come in on Friday after 10am HST will not be processed until the following Monday, even if the request is for overnight shipping. If you live on Hawaiʻi island and would like to pick up your order at our Downtown Hilo Flagship store, please select the "Local Pickup" option. Please allow 24 hours for us to get your order ready.
