Hoʻolauʻulu
The ulu has long been a symbol of strength and insipiration to us. The tree sustains us physically and psychologically. The essence of the spirit feeds the soul. The design depicted here showcases Sig's growth as an artist, and as a master of his craft. The lines of the leaves were cut in a continuous motion, locking in the flow and mana of his work. The depiction of the skin of the ulu as an ʻohe kāpala offers both tradition as well as a modern twist. The name is simple, but its meaning is several layers deep. Lau is a measurement of quantity, ulu meaning growth, inspiration and plenty. We are grateful for our blessings and humbly ask that they continue to grow.

RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY
We are more than happy to honor a refund for purchases made online at sigzanedesigns.com or from our Flagship Downtown Hilo store if an item is returned to us within 30 days of the original purchase. The item needs to be returned with the original receipt in an unused, sellable condition and with the product tags still attached.

Exchange of an item can be processed at any time up to a year after the initial purchase. Inventory moves quickly. If we cannot offer an exact exchange for the same item (in a different size or a similar garment of equal value) a gift card will be issued to be used at a later date. Online gift certificates can be transferred to our Hilo or Sig on Smith locations. Gift certificates issued from our brick and mortar locations can also be transferred but only on weekdays when staff is available to do the transaction via the web. If we have the item in stock, it will be set aside to guarantee your exchange. SHIPPING & STORE PICKUP We offer domestic and international shipping options for online orders through USPS, FedEx, and DHL International. Please allow at least 2 - 3 business days for your order to be packed and processed for shipping. The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Please contact your chosen carrier with your tracking information to inquire about the estimated date of arrival and location of your package. Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday. Orders that come in on Friday after 10am HST will not be processed until the following Monday, even if the request is for overnight shipping. If you live on Hawaiʻi island and would like to pick up your order at our Downtown Hilo Flagship store, please select the "Local Pickup" option. Please allow 24 hours for us to get your order ready.
