There at Kulaʻimano, a large patch of palaʻā grew in the shade of bamboo. Gathering the lacy fern in that location was surreal. The filtered light through the tall stalks of bamboo evoked a dream-state spiritual ceremony! It was silent except for the wind stirring through the leaf blades of the bamboo.
Written by Princess Likelike, the composition Kuʻuipo I Ka Heʻe Puʻe One is regarded as one of her most famous. The words speak of memories with a sweetheart, impassioned and delighted. This long sleeved blouse has been shaped to "cling closely" to the body, just as an embrace by a lover, hence the name chosen for this style is an emotional one. Our Kuʻuipo features darts on the front and back that allows the fabric to cling to the body, showing off the figure. A narrow placket and collar add a feminine touch, while mother of pearl buttons lend a hint of elegance. We recommend sizing up because of the tailored fit. Available in sizes XXS - 3XL. Fabric is a machine-washable blend of linen and cotton.
