The Kumulipo, the Hawaiian Creation Chant, is a two-thousand plus line story of how the island came to be. Every plant and animal, from the beginning of time, is detailed,
giving us an account of the hierarchy of life here. We learn who came first
and the development of reef to land, from polyp to coral.
The pū is mentioned very early in the process! The conch shell is one of the first lives,
having been born in the early stages of Hawaiʻi. Its cultural uses are continued today.
The sound of the pū heralds a beginning, a call to silence, a beckon to gather.
Named after the thirteenth day of the moon phase, the Hua Dress is a celebration of the fruits of our labor! A combination of many favorite styles, the sleeve, collar, length and trapeze is all about comfort. Youthful, cool and poise are offered in this all-occasion wearable. A stand-up collar, cap sleeves and an at-the-knee length, the style is all about comfort. Button-front closure and relaxing ease permits perfect strides!

SHIPPING & STORE PICKUP We offer domestic and international shipping options for online orders through USPS, FedEx, and DHL International. Please allow at least 2 - 3 business days for your order to be packed and processed for shipping. The shipping estimates listed at the time of the order are based on when the parcel leaves our premises, not when the order is placed. Please contact your chosen carrier with your tracking information to inquire about the estimated date of arrival and location of your package. Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday. Orders that come in on Friday after 10am HST will not be processed until the following Monday, even if the request is for overnight shipping. If you live on Hawaiʻi island and would like to pick up your order at our Downtown Hilo Flagship store, please select the "Local Pickup" option. Please allow 24 hours for us to get your order ready.
