This Pullover Aloha Shirt features our Kahoakapihaʻa print on Lime Seersucker material with Nautical ink.
Kahoakapihaʻā
The naupaka flourishes at Hulopoʻe Bay on Lānaʻi. Verdant and thriving because of the ample water supply thanks to the Four Seasons Resort's landscaping, the green bushes border the cliffs at the oceanside. Kapihaʻā is the name of the former fishing village where the resort now stands. The story of the naupaka blossom is one of romance, love and separation. The translation of this print name, My Friend Living at Kapihaʻā, as well as the depiction of the naupaka, plays on the tragic story of the lovers of Puʻu Pehe, also known as Sweetheart Rock.
Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Pullover features a half placket and is designed slightly wider to allow over-the-head dressing with ease. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!
