This button up aloha shirt features our Lauaʻeliʻiliʻi print on Tarragon material with Sea Mist ink. 

Lauaʻeliʻiliʻi 

As dancers of traditional Hawaiian hula, we were very familiar with the kinolau of the deities. Lauaʻe was one of the plants found on hula alters. It was also fashioned into lei for dancing. With its fragrant leaves and distinct lei making qualities, it os definitely a favorite. This design took the smaller leaves and created a layout that was reminiscent of a forest scene where weʻd find our ferns!

Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Button Up is an open front, tapered shirt with a full length placket. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!
