This Button up features our ʻŌlapalapa print on White material with Celadon ink. 

ʻŌlapalapa

ʻŌlapa leaves often dance in the slightest breeze!  When the forest is still, the ʻōlapa might be the only movement!  As one of the kinolau of Laka, lei hīpuʻu of ʻōlapa are placed on the kuahu hula.

The light green color stands out in the dark forest, especially when surrounded by ʻōhiʻa. The scent of the ʻōlapa is one of my favorites!

We named this design 'Ōlapalapa to bring emphasis to the name used on different islands to describe this uncommon native tree. 

Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Button Up is an open front, tapered shirt with a full length placket. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Either way, it's the perfect touch of crisp aloha!
