Kiaweʻula

This design is representative of the tī leaves growing at the base of a waterfall. The plants tend to "cling" to the cliff around the pool, and it is this view that is so calming. The red tī is a favorite plant and a highlight in any garden. There is a garden near Hāna, Maui where long rows of red tī entertain one's views! Likening the streaks of color in the sea of green, this name Kiaweʻula gives hint to that offering.
