Mapuamaikeʻala

The flowers of the coffee plant are very fragrant.  When the flowering season is at its peak, the hills of Hōlualoa appear as if snow has just fallen.  The evening breezes carry the scent of the coffee flowers filling the countryside with the sweetness.  "Māpu mai ke ʻala" is translated as, "wind-blown fragrance."
