Waikāloa

Mesmerizing and hypnotic, the ʻiliʻili at Waikāloa resonate. The water worn rocks at the shoreline of Hāna, Maui, dance in the waves. We experienced the ebb and flow of the ocean, listening to the animated ʻiliʻili as it rolled back and forth.The ʻohe kāpala is patterned redundancy. We imagine that each image in its repetitive use embellishes further the sounds and actions.
